Salad, Yes Please

You know what I hate? When people say salads are gross. Like, who is making your salads? What are you putting into them? Who has not mastered the salad art and has twisted your views on such a beautiful yet simple dish? These questions need answers because people aren’t eating salads; due to the fact that their poor souls are unaware of what they’re missing out on. So here! Here is a salad I made in under 30 minutes that literally breathed life into my soul. Let the things from God’s green earth breathe life into your soul too. I hope your craving a salad now and not thinking that I’m absolutely crazy.


Quinoa Chicken Salad (with loads of protein)
1 head of romaine lettuce
about 3 cups of spinach (half romaine/half spinach)
2 cups of quinoa
grilled onions
2 garden tomatoes
one boiled egg (per serving)
baked chicken
chopped pecans
1/4 cup of craisins
tahini dressing

I washed my chicken and only seasoned it with Mrs. Dash before putting it in the oven. Mrs. Dash is a life saver because it’s salt-free seasoning. I buy all the flavors I can find because it’s one of the few seasonings I use. If you or anyone in your family has high cholesterol this is especially amazing for health and flavor sake.
